This year Vital Signs is October 2 - 5, 2008 at the Buffalo Niagara Convention Center.

One of the presentations is on gang culture. It is a topic that is generally left to law enforcement and not typically covered in an EMS or Fire conference, but the culture of gangs is ever-present for all emergency service responders. The talk is: “Gangs and You: The Whos, Whats, Whys and What To Dos, About Gangs”. The presentation will be given by Ron “Cook” Barrett from the NYS Gang Prevention. If you’re already planning on attending the conference, be sure to sign up for his talk as it has excellent information and is well presented.
